DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Performs medical/somatic services in collaboration with the Medical Director and the Medical Services Supervisor. 2. Administers methadone, buprinorphine and Vivitrol services in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal Regulations. 3. Reviews and completes medical records in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal Regulations. 4. Assesses medical and case management services in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal Regulations. 5. Provides medical counseling services for individuals, groups, and families in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal Regulations. 6. Administers supervised drug screening services for MALE consumers in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal Regulations. 7. Assists physician with client admission, physicals, and medical assessments. 8. Assists in maintaining, and performing TB Testing program. 9. Other related duties as required or assigned by Medical Director, Medical Supervisor or Executive Director. 10. Assists/participates in all quality improvement activities as assigned. 11. Assists Medical Services Manager and/or Registered Nurse Team Leader as assigned. 12. Demonstrates effective and appropriate communication with co-workers, Medical Department staff, consumers, and all other facility staff and vendors.

Medical Director

Must have professional training and experience in the medical field. Must have knowledge of procedures used in operating a drug program. Must be able to work at least 18.5 hours weekly. Must be licensed as a Medical Doctor in the State of Ohio with at least one year of experience on a supervisory level. Holds a CAS (Certified Addiction Specialist) offered by the American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders or, if not, is willing to obtain this licensure within a probationary time period.
